WHY IS HARPER HIDING CHERYL GALLANT!!!!!!
Hello to the Canadian voters, please can George W Harper finally unveil this Cheryl Gallant to the Canadian people and finally letting her talk. I guess Harper does not want her to talk because she would probably just stick her foot into her mouth.
Under the cover of darkness last Saturday, January 14th, Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party sent the national media on their way while Mr. Harper made a quick pit stop to support his Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke candidate, Cheryl Gallant. The Conservative Party did not inform any media outlets about the stop, and they did not highlight it on their schedule.
The Conservative Party was happy to share a photo of the stop with the Eganville Leader (see here: http://www.eganvilleleader.com/J18a.PDF), but they were not happy with the idea that the national media would see Mr. Harper with Ms. Gallant.
On a day when the Conservatives are furiously trying to quell the growing evidence they would restrict a woman’s right to choose, Mr. Harper has been found out. He was happy to give his most vocal anti-abortion candidate a plug locally, as long as no one found out.
Could it be that Mr. Harper does not want Ms. Gallant’s opinions to be known to the electorate?
Ms. Gallant has made no secret of her socially-conservative opinions:“We saw that young American have his head literally cut off in front of the cameras, but what's happening down there is absolutely no different!” (Cheryl Gallant, comparing the beheading of an American to an abortion clinic, CBC Television, May 13, 2004)
“On the other side of the spectrum was Ms. Gallant, who explained to the audience she believes strongly life begins at conception and ends at death. She added the Canadian Alliance will deal with morality issues such as abortion with referendums, which would likely be held during election times. ‘When a referendum is held, my ballot will not be in favour of abortion,'’ she said.” (Cheryl Gallant, Pembroke Daily Observer, November 23, 2000)
"Well-known Conservative MPs like Stockwell Day, Jason Kenney, and Cheryl Gallant are on record opposing women's right to choose and would likely become Cabinet ministers in a Harper government. Cheryl Gallant has gone as far to say that she would definitely push a private members bill on abortion." (Canada Newswire June 18, 2004)
Again, this clearly shows that Cheryl Gallant and George W Harper are not the ones to be leading Canada as there right win socially conservative agenda is just not going to work with the rest of Canada. Please Harper, let Cheryl Gallant talk to the Canadian voters, why are you hiding this candidate Mr. Harper?
Please Canadian voters, on January 23rd 2006 vote for the party that relates more to women values than the Conservatives. Plain and simple please vote for the Liberals.
GO LIBERALS GO!!!!!!!
