LEAFS TALK

Hello out their once more, I will be discussing the leafs basically in this post as I do not have much to say about politics at the moment except for the usual, which is the Liberal party is the way to go. If you would like more information on the liberal party then just click on the link to the right, if you would like to know your MP in your riding if you do not know already then just click on the link and search for the MP in your riding. Why not help out your MP in any future events he/she may be holding because the experience is alot of fun and helps you in all aspects of daily life. With a brief discussion on my favourite political party taken care of, it is now time to discuss my favourite hockey team.

Well, Leafs nation has been waiting for 38 years since their last Stanley Cup and if you ask alot of Toronto people they will tell that the Leafs probably will not win this year. I say its not the team on paper that will dictate how the season and playoffs will go, its the team on the ice, its the heart of the players and the coaches that will ultimately lead the team to the promise land which is Lord Stanley. Granted the Leafs are 2-4 in pre-season play but remember it is the pre-season so it doesn't COUNT, as well their are alot of regulars out of the line-up. I think that with the addition of Oneil, Lindros and Allison, the leafs will have a decent chance this year as the new rules might just play into their hands. If Belfour can perform in at least 60 out of the leafs 82 games and do really well at the age of 40 then the leafs should be alright, remember double header on TSN on October 5, first is the Leafs vs Sens, followed by Gretzky's coaching debut as his Coyotes take on the Canucks with Bertuzzi back which should be a good game with ex-leaf Cujo in net for the Coyotes. Well, thats my post for today, I welcome any comments and have a nice, bye.

INTERESTING BLOG SPOTTED

Hello to all once more, today was pretty much an ordinary day except for this one blog I read which I must comment on. Basically, the person writing this blog that I will be discussing is a pure "conservative" and I am liberal, so naturally we would have differing opinions in the political realm. First, this blog I read had some interesting stuff to say about how US going into Iraq was a justified move and he was relating back to D-Day saying that 6,000 people died in one day. I say to this person that they should open up their eyes because D-day was a triumph in history, it was needed in order to end the war during that time period. However, what is taking place right now is nonsense where thousands of people have died in Iraq and for what, for oil, well thats all I have to say for now. Hope to post tommorow about some Leafs news as roster cuts are being made all the time in order to have the team trimmed down for game night against the hated Sens, well take care all and have a nice day.

AWAITING THE REGULAR SEASON

Hello to all who are reading this blog. I hope you are not expecting some big blog on the liberals because right now I do not have anything really to discuss about my favourite political party. Also, I have nothing to discuss about my favourite hockey team right now except for the fact that they are 2-1 in the pre-season. A reminder to all that the regular season starts up on October 5, with a doubleheader on TSN. Well, that is all I gotta say for my first posting, hope you all enjoyed it and I cannot wait for my first comment. Have a nice day and GO LEAFS GO, GO LIBERALS GO!!!
